Avantes is proud to announce Benno Oderkerk, co-founder and CEO of Avantes, has been elected president of the European Photonics Industry Consortium.
‘I am proud to be part of such an active organization, that acts on behalf of all of us for the competitiveness of the photonics industry,’ Oderkerk stated in remarks at the EPIC annual general meeting on 6 April 2017 in Eindhoven.
EPIC, the European Photonics Industry Consortium, is the premier industry association of the photonics industry in Europe, with 294 members across 29 countries. The association engages in advocacy and business development efforts throughout Europe and hosts numerous networking and training events for members every year.
Avantes is honoured that Mr Oderkerk has been selected to lead this organization dedicated to fostering the development of the photonics industry in Europe.
